My second week of teachng experience

This is my reflection about teaching and learning process in week 2, I have taught for three times in class XI.
Behind the scene, We were busy to prepare the class’ activity. We have prepared the material and media of teaching and learning of Trigonometry and Probability’s topic. Before we practiced our lesson plan, we have been consulted the lesson plan to master teacher. There are so many advices that we have got such as instructional media, worksheet, homework, and also the lesson plan’s model. In fact, the lesson plan guide and lesson plan from the teacher are different. So, we have to change the models of lesson plan to be the lesson plan like the school. Not only the model but also the content we have to change to make it better. And also we reduce the activity that is needed much time. In quiz test, there was the question which is not appropriate for the skill of the student. Because the level was have to begin the low into the high level. The other tool that support them is gave them any exercises that it has a little difference for the quiz. So, it was appropriate that the teacher given among the expectancy score.
The day of the practice, I felt so nervous, Because the teacher will assess us. I opened the class with greeting, goal of the activity, and also review. I forget some the content and “blank” what will I explain to the student. I felt like that because all of them gave more  attention to us with the silent condition. I just hear my voice there. By the time, I can control what I felt with discuss together. I give the question and asked one person to answer with written down in white board. Not only that we asked him to explain his answer to the other friends. It was the good way to reduce my nervous. I can be interacted to them.
And then the material was continuing with my friend. She gave the games interaction to them, the reaction was very good. They looked very happy to found the other friend in group games. So, they got the worksheet there. We went around in every group,  I have many question in group to explain the question meaning. On the question, I have the question that I can not answer it. Suddenly, my friend come and helped me to answer. I realize, that knowing the overall of the content that will be given is very important. Briefing first before the class begin and sharing our duty to the other friends in team, useful for us to be more perfect in class. I can imagine the other friend in another school felt like us that the time was limit but we need for share the materials.
The other important thing was about the efficiency the time. Sometime we felt so comfort in our doing. So, it makes us forget how many time that we have to explain or play the games. We have to control and remind to the other friend.
My master teacher said that we have to give attention about the deliver of the materials in short time. As we knew that the materials in senior high school was too much. Overall, our method was interactive and good. But it can not asses the individual skill because most of the activity was use group method. Maybe in several time we can use it. But not all of meeting we can not use the method. For the deliver the content, we only be a facilitator. There are only remembering the last materials and encourage their critical thinking to find the new formula.
Most of the materials that the teachers give to the students are lecture discussion. Rarely, the learning and teaching process use in group. I got so many wonderful experiences from my School Experience. So ,happy and proud in our effort  to follow and to prepare the activity in team
