Assessment purposes and processes


My reflection about assessment purposes and process. Assessment is a thing that exists at a great influence in the learning process. In the process we must have a purpose. In order for that purpose we need planning for instruction, adjusting instruction, diagnosis, expertise and evaluating, and comparing. This is done prior learning, learning takes place during, and after learning. Furthermore, in preparing the assessment stage we have to set the method, instrument, type of activity. Then we discuss the issue with other appraisers "if any". And then we discuss with the facilitator to learn for example lecturers. And the latter decided at the time of assessment. Assessment phase in the assessment of learning that provide information about the needs, providing evidence that has been collected and will be presented, the latter explains the roles and responsibilities of students.
In this learning in my opinion that assessment should be in accordance with the original purpose which can be seen from the learning process itself.
