First impression: observation, team teaching.

On the fifth week, we always go to school every semester. In first and second semester, we just did observation. But in the third semester, we did observation and team teaching. Finally, we observed in senior high school, whereas its before we observed in elementary school. Do you remember about two my question which I posted in e-reflection blog?  Why we which prepared for secondary school but we more often practice micro teaching for elementary school? And, When studied about ICT last year, and PETA in this semester, we also microteaching for elementary school. Why?

During a week, I have observed in SMA 54, I observed in class XIA1, XIA2, XIA3 and XIA4.  I saw almost class is being quiet. I don’t know what they feared. There is someone said mathematics teacher is very killer. But when I observed I didn’t see teacher afraid or bully his students. I saw teacher give joke to his students. There is no different teacher’s treatment that given to XIA1, XIA2, XIA3 and XIA4, just teacher’s assessment is different.  Opening activities with presentation from a group, then explain by teacher  and finally student asked to do exercise.

I and my friend also have opportunity to do team teaching in XIA4 and XIA1, it is really-really extraordinary experience. I remember when I explain about prove of sinus formula of the sum of two angles. There is something which meaningful for me. For next week I and my friend will do team teaching again in XIA2 and XIA3.
