My experience with “Assessment”
Everybody have a experience with a
word “assessment”. Especially for me, I have
a different way in assessment. Sometime, assessment can make me have high
spirit, but sometime make me lazy, get headache, and confuse, for example assessment
in examination. High spirit means that I
has to evidence that I can do exam, and then that’s moment to test my knowledge
or my understanding. But, I other side I
confused and afraid in examination, moreover I don’t study hard. Instead of that,
Now when I hear the “assessment” word, surely I want to invite my friends to
discuss, because it so help us.
As we know assessment’s not only in class or school. But also in
every case, for example there is assessment of
contest. Assessment sometime make
someone to do chatting, in case fact in our life. My friend always bring the
note or write book that have write the chat. I often see that she always success
in chatting, she did that just only want to get the high score. Finally, I am
anxious what she did, I tried the way of her to make a note in paper or write
book to prepare examination. But until the end my note not open, because I’m
afraid. I am nervous when I want to open
my note, but my body and heart not allow me to do that. And then because of that I don’t want to do
that, because I think that’s useless. That’s
my experience in Junior high school.
Now, in SSE I have learn about the assessment.
It is a way for teacher to see how far the understand of students for the
learning process in the class. Before prepare assessment, teacher has to make a
lesson plan. In making the assessment, as a teacher has to have a rubric. In asses
students, teacher has to see the condition and care with the process, not only
asses about the examination or not score oriented. From the experience that I
have, it can become learn for us a candidate teacher. as a teacher has to
creative in making lesson plan and the shape of assessment. We have to can make
the students enjoy and comfortable in learning process, so it can easy for
teacher to asses them, not only a asses in written or paper pencil test, but
other creative activity that have a moral value, so it can become a assessment.
Therefore, assessment is important
to do, moreover to know the understand of students, so the next the teacher get
feedback and evaluation to make learning process is better.
