Lesson Plan in Action (E-Reflection2-Deshinta


Today is the second meeting of PETA studies. It is quite interesting for me, causes I’m not sleepy anymore. Ups... Sorry Miss, because it become may habit since entering SSE. I’m always sleepy in lecturing process. 

OK. At the beginning Miss Lydia (my lecturer) will plays a video. Hem, before play the video, She ask class to identify the opening, main activities, and closing. It is related to Bloom taxonomy about teaching learning process. OK I know the major learning today, it must be Lesson Plan. The video was played; it is about teaching learning process at Elementary School about “tematik” studies. I’m surprised knowing the sponsor. It is DBE2, Decentralized Basic Education. Fortunately that is my sponsor in Community Service which held soon. Wow, I’m being more interested see that video.
The video contains teaching preparation of teaching and teaching learning process. I agreed with that video whether before teaching we need to discuss with the other teachers for making the effective teaching. That video saw me another way to teaching 1st grade by observation. I think that is effective way because students will feel free in learning and more interested. But there are two ineffective activities that are giving reward by snack and bored story telling. The rewards seems not effective because the student doesn’t seem happy and being motivated, and another point, it doesn’t seem natural. And about the story telling, the story is tell in bored way because less of action and expression.
See the video, we have to discuss in group about the lesson plan and identify the effective and ineffective teaching. The group discussion runs well because we accustomed to learning the teaching learning process. 

The next activities are class discussion. Firstly we are discussing the video about the effective and ineffective, also about the assessment. We are given a material of Understanding Design. Actually, I’m not understood clearly about this part, I think the class needs more time. But it’s OK because suddenly I read it, it is not too complicated. The second, we discuss about bloom taxonomy. Miss Lydia just takes a bit material because we are expert about that taxonomy.  

The last class activities is create lesson plan for the next micro teaching activities. We don’t finished yet, but the time is over, so Miss Lydia makes that group work being assignment. OK, hopefully we can complete the assignment in time, because this week we have so many assignment in others Studies. Keep fighting!!!
