Khoirul umam 2010110038 - The first meeting

First impression: new lecture, new ways, new styles, and new assignments (of course, because no day without assignments - no assignment, it’s not SSE), but on the first meeting, I felt enjoy, especially when we made pair and discussed about some questions. Those were “who or what do you inspiring to be a teacher?” and “do you feel that has been a teacher now?” and “what are you goals as teacher candidate?” There were many inspiration stories which were shared. My friends had person who became their inspiration. There was inspired by their mother, there was inspired by their teacher, and there was also inspired by their lecture (Many students in Class B inspired by Pak Iwan, what’s wrong with Pak Iwan? :) ).

We also discussed about “Effective teaching and non-effective teaching” (killer teacher vs angel teacher).

From those activities I felt to become a teacher is not easy, the teacher need to have abilities and skills. The teacher must know about Principles Effective Teaching and Assessment for make activities learning is successful.

"Don’t be a good teacher but be a great teacher."

I am sure with PETA, I will be better teacher.
