Opening our mind to look in our Future

As usual, we make some reflections for our meeting in PETA Course.

 At October 4^th 2011, in every session we have got many new experiences and inspiration to be a professional teacher. Firstly, Mom Lidya gave us many questions about our teacher in school before. We evaluated our teacher for their method, style to teach, the teacher personality and also unforgettable moment in Math course. So it made us difficult to forget. I remember when Mom Lidya said that was teaching not only memorize, but also making conceptual understanding in every student with using various method to be more interesting. It also depends on the student’s age because of using the method could be effective if it appropriate with their development (I remember about  Educational Psychology course in first semester).

 We have been a student before, aren’t you? So, we will have different concept about our effective teacher in Math. We have discussed about it and also shared session. After that Mom Lidya made a group discussion again in expert group about Cooperate learning models, group interaction models, direct interactions models and lecture interaction models. In fact, we can be share what was we read about the article.

 Mom Lidya made us into 3 groups such as a principle, fresh graduate from SSE in Math education and the other one fresh graduated from Math ITB. The activities made me confuse because I did not know what would I said to principle and selling my self with my capability, my experience and the other. Base on the first activity, I learned many things because I often gave critical schema about the professional the teacher which is needed in real Indonesian Education. Realizing us to make some preparation to have many good characters as a teacher and also ready to compete with the other fresh graduation. 

Thank you Mom Lidya because I think this is the supporting modals that we must have. We have to more do the best in this semester not only increasing my knowledge in Academic and improving our skills, but also we develop our personality and change it to be better.

Belief our self…

We can do the best and make a different…
